Why buy springtail and isopod colonies?

To ensure the health of the animals, we post on the first working day of each week to minimise their time in transit. Orders received by midnight on Saturday will be posted on Monday (or the first business day of the week). Orders received after that will likely go into the next week’s shipment. I

Colonies are shipped in sphagnum moss to protect them during transit. This is because it is soft and light, and less likely to crush the springtails/isopods. If you’re certain you would prefer a colony delivered on charcoal, please message us.
